Designing for empathy in AI experiences

I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of empathy in AI interfaces. When we create user experiences, it’s crucial to anticipate user emotions and needs, especially in complex systems. Have any of you used specific methods or tools to gauge user feelings during the design process? I’d love to hear your insights.

I’ve found that using empathy maps can really help visualize user emotions. > ‘to gauge user feelings during the design process?’ Consider integrating feedback sessions throughout your design phases; they can reveal needs that sometimes get missed. How do you currently test emotional responses?

I love the idea of integrating feedback sessions to understand user emotions better. In my experience, running prototype testing with real users early in the design process can shed light on their feelings and needs. Have you looked into incorporating tools like UserTesting for this purpose?
